At the very first moment when I started the very first computer in my life some 15 yrs back, the first thing I saw was the Windows logo on the start up screen.
That was my first introduction to Microsoft. Then I used to regularly use my PC for various works, I daily met with the logo, i.e., the Microsoft.
When I for the first time used DOS, it was like..."Why the hell it is here when we have windows ! "
Then I read about the development of computers and operating systems and came to know about the importance of all the developments that took place and how the older versions still plays important role in a programmers life.
But using a computer, nowadays, laptop is unimaginable without Windows. If Microsoft wasn't there, then we would never had been able to use a computer so fluently like that we do today and easily typing this blog !
A lot thanks to Sir Bill Gates for this !
Not only windows with GUI, Microsoft also provided us with our basic writing applications like MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, MS-OFFICE, the very first mail client I used for the very fast in-mail communications that are still used in all big industries.
I still feels hopeless without PAINT, the favorite application for kids and a very useful tool for students and the professionals.
It provided us with such major & minor applications without which we couldn't prepare our school projects on MS-POWERPOINT, the only application every industry use to make presentations.
Even if the company is making strategy against Microsoft, then also it has to use the windows applications for that !
Returning to my experience with windows, I have used it as a student, as an engineer(obviously upcoming ! ) and without it my life would had been incomplete.
I can't imagine myself writing each file when I can use ms-word and make my things done with half the hard work.
windows is the most efficient and the God father of all the operating systems existing till date I believe.
Making developments, Microsoft recently captured Nokia and bought a revolution in the smartphone market.
With the series of Lumia phones, One can use the smart phone as a small portable PC.
personally speaking, Lumia 920 is the best I felt out of those I got a chance to use.
M currently using latest version of windows 8.1 in dell Inspiron 1525 and it is giving me the ever best experience in the windows development also.
and the latest version of internet explorer 11 made me ensure not to install any other browser in my laptop !
And proving the priorities of its customers, Now m having the Microsoft Students Association program to help myself learn more about the Microsoft and its universal products.
I also came to know about the Microsoft innovation cup for which m looking forward to take part in 2015 that is going to change my life completely and m very sure of that !
Furthermore, being a constant user of Microsoft from a good time, I daily observes a lot of improvements and suggestions that could be there to help me.
To come up of those improvements, I would like to be a MSA that could also become a member of LUMIA team and make some highly innovative apps with them !
